Because nobody orders a bottle of good whisky and thinks, “You know what this needs? A handful of rapidly melting freezer cubes.” Large-format clear ice melts more slowly, meaning less dilution and more time enjoying the drink exactly as it was meant to be..

We use a controlled freezing process that encourages the water to freeze directionally, pushing trapped air and impurities away from the finished piece. In other words, we don't simply freeze some water and hope for the best.

Technically, ice isn't supposed to taste of anything. And that's rather the point. Good ice stays out of the way, melts slowly and lets your whisky, cocktail or spirit do the talking.

Longer than ordinary ice. Exactly how long depends on the drink, temperature and size of the ice. But our large-format pieces are designed to take their time. Much like a proper drink should.

We offer a range of large-format shapes, including cubes, spheres and specialty designs. Custom shapes may also be available for selected orders.

If it's properly packaged and kept frozen, it can be stored for an extended period. But like most good things, fresh is better. More than 4 weeks, it's time for a refill.
